Daisy is now 9 months old and growing quickly. In the beginning, it seemed as though this little calf would never put on any weight but now there’s just no stopping her. Her daily walks to the veldt with Modjadji continue. Modjadji really gives Daisy the confidence to explore. Daisy’s ability to graze is also vastly improving. She is learning how to use her top lip to pull the grass. She hasn’t quite learned to take smaller bites yet but for now, she is content with very long strands. Daisy has also found a fondness for gathering sticks on her walks. Whilst she hasn’t been able to bring them home yet, she certainly gives it a good try!
