With the support of the Spirit Community Foundation the Big Issue was able to assist Elaine Jäger and Graeme Clark, our two vendors from Mowbray who stay in a shelter to buy some appliances that they need on a day-to-day basis. With the funds Graeme received, he was able to buy a two-plate stove and a set of cooking pots. Elaine on the other hand was able to buy an electric iron, a jug and a toaster. The Big Issue office administrator, Penny Hawker, accompanied them to buy the items and drop them off at their shelter.
