In a spectacular couple of months, the team has competed in and completed round one and round two of the Western Province Motor Club Power (WPMC) Series on the main Killarney circuit. The Racing Spirit/RDSA Karting team took part in round one with three drivers. Luca Wehrli had a fantastic day securing first overall in the Senior Max class. Michael O’Mahoney had a challenging day but showed true resilience after he was flipped over in one of his races. He completed the day and finished seventh overall. Caleb Lingeveldt made his debut in the Micro Max class, driving well to take fifth overall.

Century Indoor Karting Event

We had the great pleasure of hosting our indoor karting giveaway event for the winner, Annie. She brought two of her friends with who enjoyed the event with the Racing Spirit race team members as well as NDT Racing staff.

It was a successful night with many laughs and memories shared between the team and the Instagram competition winners. It was also a great team bonding experience for NDT and Racing Spirit.

Power Series Round Two (22 Feb 2025) (Fan Walk)

Racing Spirit entered three race cars in two categories at the Power Series event at Killarney International Raceway. The team competed in the Spirit Invest Sports & GT category and the BMW Car Club Cape Town Series. The team also took part in a fan walk which allowed the supporters to get up close and personal with the race cars on the track.

It was another successful day for the team with many lessons learnt and some more race wins to add to the tally.

The fan walk was a highlight with many spectators taking an interest into our drivers and cars. It was made that much more special to be joined by team owner Ian Kilbride.

That’s a wrap for the first quarter, but look out for the following events in the next quarter and we’d love to see you coming along to support Racing Spirit and enjoying a great day out at Killarney International Raceway! WPMC Karting Regional Two; Extreme Festival; and Rotax Karting National Killarney.
