The annual registration day was a highlight to the year. We were fortunate to host this year’s event as it was sorely missed in 2020. A wonderful family gathering. All learners were present with their parents to celebrate the year and all they have achieved. Dr Samantha Kriger from Cape Peninsula University of Technology gave a compelling presentation on the power of CHOICE. She encouraged all the scholars to take hold of the opportunities at the schools in every way possible. The lessons learnt through taking hold of these opportunities will far out way the lessons learnt in the classroom. A special thanks to Wendy De Sousa and Tessa De Beer Smit both attending and representing our board of trustees. To the Alumni that came to volunteer and help with the smooth running of the program and setting up and giving of their Saturday morning, we are always grateful to you all.
A final special thanks goes to the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, Newton Foundation, long standing donors of Spirit Education Foundation from the USA. With this year’s donation we were able to provide each family with a small voucher contribution towards the festive season, from Checkers. It has been a tough 2 years financially on all our families and our hope is that these vouchers will assist them in purchasing some much-needed groceries over the holiday period. A prouder moment was when we took the group picture. 120 scholars in2022. A growing nation of inspired young minds, a group of future leaders stood before us ready to take on next years adventures and challenges.
The achievements of the year were celebrated at our annual registration day.
