Spirit Community Foundation Stories

With National Women’s Day on 9 August, we acknowledge our stakeholders involved in the support and empowerment of girls who are blind and visually impaired. We call on communities to support us as we raise awareness on the protection of the rights of girls who are blind and visually impaired in order to eliminate the stigma and discrimination they face on a daily basis. Annually, LOFOB provides psychosocial and education support, rehabilitation, and skills training to 100-110 girls and women who are blind and visually impaired from communities across the Western Cape.
