Early intervention programmes are crucial for children with blindness or visual impairments. They lay a strong foundation for future learning and development, minimising challenges while fostering independence and promoting a positive self-image and resilience. Thanks to your generous support, we have made significant strides in providing essential services to visually impaired children. Here are some key achievements: Empowerment Through Education: We provided therapeutic and independent skills development and education services to 42 children, empowering them to thrive in their daily lives. Supporting Early Development: Two new children, aged one and seven, were referred for early childhood development services, ensuring they receive the support they need. Raising Awareness: We engaged 67 participants in awareness programmes on blindness and early intervention across various sectors, including healthcare, disability, education, and community development. This initiative aims to foster understanding and collaboration in supporting visually impaired individuals.
