HearInAfrica outreach commenced this year and has hosted a number of free community hearing screening days. In the past month we have conducted hearing screening tests on fourteen people, of whom twelve were identified to have hearing loss. Thereafter, six people made appointments for further diagnostic testing. The others were either going to make financial arrangements or call in when they were ready. We also fitted three hearing aids at absolutely no charge this month!
