Winter has arrived, bringing with it a severe drop in temperatures and for vulnerable orphans like Daisy (who struggles to regulate her body temperature), this means being vigilantly watched and monitored by keepers. Daisy has had a heater installed in her night pen to keep her snug and during the day when she ventures out, she is covered in a blanket by her caregivers. The cold cannot put a damper on this calf’s spirit and she remains curious! Stay tuned for more updates to come on Daisy’s progress.
