July 2024 was Ranger Month, culminating in World Ranger Day on July 31st. Celebrated globally, this day brings us together to honour the brave men and women who dedicate their lives to the protection of wildlife and wild places.
This World Ranger Day was particularly special for the team at Care for Wild as we celebrated a decade of unwavering commitment, sacrifice, and unprecedented dedication. 10 Years without incursions. 3,646 days. 87,504 hours of round-theclock protection. Every second, every hour, every day, and every night, Care for Wild’s Rangers leave footprints on the earth as they walk beside rhinos on a journey to save a species from extinction. With every step, they reclaim the land for rhinos and for wildlife. Our Rhino Monitors are among the most incredible people you could ever have the privilege of meeting.
