Our beautiful girl, Daisy, has reached a significant milestone in her weight progression! Though she may appear small, this girl is built of strong stuff. Daisy has just tipped the 500kg mark, so we decided to see how many people it would take to match her weight. The answer was seven! Seven staff members and fabulous volunteers were needed to match Daisy’s weight.
She is catching up with the other rhinos and doing very well. Daisy continues to socialise with the other rhino orphans and enjoys her walks to the veldt. Modjadji is primarily a grazer, but she also occasionally samples the odd branch that has been offered to her fellow black rhino friends!
