Spirit Foundation alumna Gadija has graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree specialising in Financial Accounting — the result of three years filled with lessons, growth, and perseverance. Her academic journey, like most, was not without struggle, but it has been impactful.
“After three years filled with new experiences, sleepless nights and many tears, I finally graduated, all praise be to God,” she shares. “This degree taught me that I am much stronger and capable than I thought I was. It taught me that your mindset and belief can drive you forward.”
Gadija found that the key to her success lay in developing self-discipline and setting clear personal goals. “It taught me the importance of self-discipline and working hard for your own goals.”
For her, earning this degree goes beyond an academic milestone; it captures a moment of profound personal affirmation.
“To me, this degree means that I took one big step in life, and I can continue taking the next big step. I am capable, and with the right tools and opportunities, I can make my dreams a reality.”
Looking back, she is proud not only of the qualification, but of the personal growth that accompanied it. She credits her motivation and belief in education for helping her reach this point.
“You can make your dreams a reality through education,” she says. Her message to other Spirit Foundation learners and alumni is simple but powerful: “Shoot for the stars.”
